What we accept for auction

Auctium is a curated marketplace. Every object submitted to us is reviewed by an expert in its category before it can go live — nothing lists automatically. These guidelines describe, category by category, what our specialists look for, the minimum values we accept, and how to present your object so it passes review the first time.

How expert review works

When you submit an object, a specialist in its category examines your photos, description and documentation. Review happens within two business days and ends in one of three outcomes:

• Approved — the expert sets the estimate range and opening bid, and schedules your lot into a suitable auction.
• Adjusted or returned for more information — the expert may correct details, refine the title, or ask for extra documentation such as a certificate or serial-number photo.
• Rejected — objects that don't meet the category standard are never published. A rejection is not a judgment on your object's worth, only on its fit for Auctium.

Meeting a category's minimum value doesn't guarantee acceptance: experts also weigh condition, authenticity evidence and current bidder demand. And because every lot passes the same bar, buyers bid with confidence — which is exactly why strong objects achieve strong prices here.
